PFHE Collects 3 Marcom Awards for Diverse Creative Projects
Dec. 2, 2009 – PlattForm Higher Education has announced that its creative teams won three awards in the 2009 Marcom Awards competition. The agency was recognized for its execution on print, television, and web design projects involving traditional college- and university-related advertising and marketing pieces.
The Marcom Awards are an annual marketing and communications competition that has grown to be the largest of its kind in the world. Winners range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
“We're proud to be making an impact in higher education and of the effort our teams go to in order to make sure we understand our clients’ creative needs ,” PlattForm CEO Dave Admire said.
PlattForm’s Print Department won a gold award for its work on the Hallmark Institute of Photography’s “Capture Your World” brochure in the Design/Brochure category. The agency’s development of a web site for Friends University, www.friends.edu, won a gold award in the Web Site Overall category. And, the agency’s Production department received an honorable mention for its pro bono video for TLC, a charitable organization for individuals and families dealing with AIDS.
