Mike is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in History. He chose to work in advertising because he feels it’s a natural fit with his personality. “I enjoy finding solutions for schools, and advertising is the avenue to do it. It’s about making a difference and that’s what we do here.”

Although Mike uses research and data to guide the recommendations he makes to PlattForm’s clients, he doesn’t define success by numbers or material wealth. “Success is never about money. It’s your faith, family, friends and how you live your life to the best of your ability. The rest is nothing more than material.”

If Mike chose a different path in life, he would pursue a career in the military. “It’s all about sacrifice for your country and others. Too many people get lost in status and how others perceive them from a monetary standpoint. Money does not define an individual.”

In fact, the people that Mike admires the most are those who choose careers serving others. “My heroes are every man and woman that has served our country, our teachers, police officers and any other position that requires a sacrifice for the greater good that most are not willing to do. That’s a real hero to me.”

Outside of his career, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a fitness fanatic and avid reader.
