PFHE Releases First of White Paper Series on Adult Education Best Practices
LENEXA, Kan. – (November X, 2011) – PlattForm Higher Education announced today the release of the first in a three-part white paper series on enrollment marketing best practices. The first installment in the white paper series is titled “Building a Successful Adult Education Program: Beginning with the End in Mind.”
Authored by Brad Gibbs, chief growth officer of PlattForm Higher Education, the largest full-service agency specializing in enrollment marketing for higher education, the white paper delves into the challenges faced by many institutions launching adult education programs and discusses key factors that should be carefully evaluated to ensure success.
Gibbs’ goes on to write that institutions launching adult education programs are best served by following Stephen Covey’s advice to “begin with the end in mind.” For example, set realistic expectations based on research and data for what it will require to enroll students.
Readers of the white paper will find insights and information throughout, including:
- What information needs to be reviewed to set realistic cost per enrollment goals and expectations
- Why the enrollment marketing processes for adult education programs should be considerably different than those for traditional students
- How curricula type and degree level affect the reach and appeal of programs
- How to evaluate lead-to-rep ratios, conversion timelines and changes in the marketplace to effectively determine conversion rates
“It’s a whole different ballgame when institutions are marketing adult education programs,” said Gibbs. “Our experience working with higher education clients on adult and online programs was the genesis for the white paper series.”
The white paper, “Building a Successful Adult Education Program: Beginning with the End in Mind,” can be downloaded here or email marketing@plattformhighered.com to get a copy. Subsequent white papers in the series will cover setting up an admissions department for success and developing an effective marketing strategy for adult education programs.
